The purpose of the Valley Muslims is to create a “sacred space” for clergy and interfaith representatives to dialogue and commune together by seeking out and celebrating our commonalities, while accepting and respecting our differences in belief and practice, in order to live together in greater understanding, peace and harmony.

Conduct business and cultural events to promote better understanding of the Arab Countries

- Invite speakers to dinner and luncheon programs to update members on business opportunities, political and regulatory matters in the region.
- Engage with Arab American Chambers of Commerce in preparation of hosting and coordinating trade delegations to the region.
- Attract Trade and Investment Delegations from the region to Illinois.
- Provide services and information to Illinois businesses concerning doing business in the Arab Countries.
To achieve these goals, ABPA will undertake programs and activities, either alone or in concert with other organizations and individuals. All such programs and activities will be conducted according to the highest business and professional ethical standards.
Our Story
Valley Muslims was launched in 2019 by volunteers associated with Islamic Centers in San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, CA. It derives inspiration from the following Quranic verse:
“Invite all to the way of thy Lord, With wisdom and beautiful preaching, And argue with them, In ways that are best and most gracious” (16:125).
Valley Muslims’ foremost aim is to provide accurate information about Islam, the fastest growing religion in the world which is practiced by over 1.6 billion people across the globe. In doing so, it hopes to dispel popular stereotypes and persistent misconceptions about Islam and Muslims.
